Kachalochka Terms of Service
Agreement
By using Kachalochka or signing in to it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Kachalochka is a free personal tool to record gym workouts and body measures, sync them between Android and the web, and share workouts with groups of friends. It is provided by an individual developer, not by a company.
Your account
Kachalochka is for people aged 13 and over. You sign in with your own Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure. A guardian you link by entering their code may see and record your workouts, machines, photos and plans for you; either of you can end the link at any time.
Your content
What you record stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, sync it between your devices and show it to the members of the groups you join and to a guardian you link. You are responsible for what you write in names and notes, and for whom you invite into your groups.
Acceptable use
- Do not disrupt, overload or try to break the service.
- Do not try to reach other people’s data beyond what your groups and your guardian links show you.
- Do not put unlawful, hateful or abusive content in group names, machine names or notes.
- Do not access the service by automated means other than the app itself.
Groups
A group’s owner shares its invite code and can delete the group. Anyone with the code can join. The code cannot be changed and members cannot be removed, so share it only with people you want to see your visits; deleting the group stops the sharing for everyone in it. Members can leave a group at any time.
Health
Kachalochka records numbers. It gives no medical or training advice, and its body-fat figures are formula estimates, not measurements. Exercise at your own risk, and consult a professional when in doubt.
No warranty
The app and the service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or end the service at any time, and data may be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. The app is free of charge.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your account as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, and we may end the service.
Changes
We publish any change to these terms on this page with a new effective date. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Source code
Kachalochka’s source code is available under the GNU General Public License v3 in its repository. These terms cover the hosted service — the web app, the backend and your account — and do not limit the rights the GPL gives you to the code. A copy you build and run against your own backend is outside these terms.
